Publisher Puts Disclaimer on Founding Documents

Wilder Publications has printed a disclaimer on our founding documents. They believe the very foundation of our republic is too risque for the average reader.

The disclaimer states that the book is a product of the time and does not reflect the values of today. And yet our elected officials swear an oath to uphold and defend that very document when taking office. Somebody had better tell those upstanding public servants that their fealty to the U.S. Constitution is an aberration and that those sentiments are antiquated.

I believe Wilder Publications has it right. We don't have the same values as our forefathers. We live in a permissive society that abhors personal responsibility and self-government. Our founding fathers believed in a nation of laws; not a nation of men; and today's legislators believe in just the opposite.

A disclaimer shouldn't warn Americans about our founding documents; rather, a disclaimer should be printed on every piece of legislation, both federal and state that is foisted upon the citizens of this country:

This Law does not reflect the will of the people, and is a direct assault upon freedom loving Americans throughout the country. Please discuss with your children and fellow countrymen.
