Obama: Stimulus Helped States Balance Budgets

Barack Obama, the idiot in chief, declared at the Governor’s Conference that stimulus money helped the states balance their budgets, even though they won’t admit it:


"As the Recovery Act funds that saw through many states over the last two years are phasing out and it is undeniable that the Recovery Act helped every single state represented in this room manage your budgets, whether you admit it or not," President Obama told Governors on Monday morning

The Recovery Act allowed the states to kick the can down the road. Now that the music has stopped, everyone is looking for a chair to sit in and none can be found. What did we get for the trillion in federal aid? We still have double digit unemployment. Gas prices are rising. Inflation is rearing its ugly head. And China, who owns a large portion of our debt, is about to become our feudal lords.

Ronald Reagan once asked, “Are you better off today than you were four years ago?”





The only ones who can answer in the affirmative are government workers.

Future generations are going to ask whatever happened to the American dream. They are going to look back with an accusative eye and point their fingers at us. We will be given the moniker, “The Selfish Generation.” And no one can deny it.
