Rep. Luis Gutierrez Wants an Obama Dictatorship

If you want to know why Latin American countries are third world hell holes, all you have to do is listen to Rep. Luis Gutierrez.  This so-called “American” congressman is advocating an Obama dictatorship.  He wants the Thug-in-Chief to proclaim an executive order that would grant amnesty to a bunch of low lives that have no regard for our laws, property, and citizenship.

Rep. Luis Gutierrez has the mentality of a third-worlder.  He has no respect for the institution that he serves.  It is Congress that establishes uniform rules of naturalization, as outlined in Article One Section Eight of the United States Constitution.  But this minion of despotism has no regard for that venerable document.  He is too busy catering to a foreign diaspora that have the mentality of a Che Guevara.

I do agree with one part of Rep. Luis Gutierrez’s speech.  We must not separate illegal aliens from their children.  I propose that we repeal the 14th Amendment and send them all back to whence they came.

Thug-in-Chief Threatens Federal Contractors

We should have a new designation for the current office holder who is masquerading as President of the United States, and that is Thug-in-Chief.

The Supreme Court ruled in a land mark case Citizens United vs. Federal Elections Committee, that corporations and unions have a First Amendment right to donate money to political campaigns or action groups.  The Thug and his fascist minions in the White House are seeking a way to circumvent that ruling.  Obama is drafting an executive order that would require any company who contracts with the federal government to disclose any and all political associations:

Government contractors are already required to disclose contributions to political candidates. This executive order would require the disclosure of any donations to independent groups, where conservative groups outspent liberal ones in the 2010 election.

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) said the executive order would stifle free speech.

“Democracy is compromised when individuals and small businesses fear reprisal, or expect favor from the federal government as a result of their political associations,” McConnell said in a statement last week, after reports of the draft emerged.

“So recent press reports about an unprecedented draft Executive Order raise troubling concerns about an effort to silence or intimidate political adversaries’ speech through the government contracting system,” he said. “If true, the proposed effort would represent an outrageous and anti-democratic abuse of executive branch authority. No administration should use the federal contracting system for campaign purposes.”

Of course the Thug exempted his favorite pets, the unions and anyone else who receives grants from the federal government.  These leeches are Democratic supporters and have no fear of retribution.

Hans A. von Spakovsky, senior legal fellow at the Heritage Foundation, a conservative think tank, was skeptical of Carney’s assertion that the president was merely committed to transparency.

“If transparency is the true goal, why isn’t the proposed executive order covering any outside entity that gets federal money? It only applies to government contractors, not grant recipients like Planned Parenthood,” he told CNSNews.com. “Public employee unions are also exempt from this order.”

Von Spakovsky, who was the first to report the existence of the draft executive order, on Pajamas Media last week, argued that the move would politicize the federal procurement process.

Obama is a shameless partisan.  The Chicago way is not the American Way.

EPA Puts Stranglehold on Shell Oil Production

It amazes me that everyone is asking themselves as to why gas prices are so high, when we have an administration that is overtly hostile to energy companies. The EPA has just prohibited Shell Oil Company from exploration in Alaska after they spent years, and billions of dollars in preparation:

Shell has spent five years and nearly $4 billion dollars on plans to explore for oil in the Beaufort and Chukchi Seas. The leases alone cost $2.2 billion. Shell Vice President Pete Slaiby says obtaining similar air permits for a drilling operation in the Gulf of Mexico would take about 45 days. He’s especially frustrated over the appeal board’s suggestion that the Arctic drill would somehow be hazardous for the people who live in the area. “We think the issues were really not major,” Slaiby said, “and clearly not impactful for the communities we work in.”

The closest village to where Shell proposed to drill is Kaktovik, Alaska. It is one of the most remote places in the United States. According to the latest census, the population is 245 and nearly all of the residents are Alaska natives. The village, which is 1 square mile, sits right along the shores of the Beaufort Sea, 70 miles away from the proposed off-shore drill site.

And how much oil is estimated?

At stake is an estimated 27 billion barrels of oil. That’s how much the U. S. Geological Survey believes is in the U.S. portion of the Arctic Ocean. For perspective, that represents two and a half times more oil than has flowed down the Trans Alaska pipeline throughout its 30-year history. That pipeline is getting dangerously low on oil. At 660,000 barrels a day, it’s carrying only one-third its capacity

But hey, it’s okay that the Obama administration gave $2 billion to Brazil for deep offshore drilling, while putting a moratorium on domestic drilling in the Gulf. George Soros must have a big smile on his face. I’m sure his ass cheeks hurt from sitting on that big mountain of cash; courtesy of the American taxpayer.

German Woman Stands Up Against Radical Muslims; Lucky not to be in Dearbornistan, Michigan

A brave German woman stood up against a bunch of Muslim radicals at a rally in Frankfurt, Germany. Her courage is admirable. But she hadn’t better try that crap in Dearbornistan, Michigan.

Reverend Terry Jones, the infamous Koran burner, was arrested over the weekend for daring to travel into the hinterlands of America’s Islamabad. He was immediately arrested for potentially disturbing the peace:

Judge Mark Somers set the $1 peace bond after a six-person jury decided in Dearborn's 19th District Court that Jones and Sapp were likely to breach the peace through a planned protest.

The bond was set on condition that Jones and Sapp not enter the premises of the Islamic Center of America or the nearby area for three years. Jones and Sapp had planned to protest Friday near the center.

Don’t even think about it German woman! That very thought might cost you $1.00, a night in the pokey and three year banishment from the land of Dearbornistan!

Progressives Plot to Enslave Americans

The Progressives are plotting to overthrow the American way of life. They are openly organizing to usher in their socialist utopian dream; a dream that history has proven time and time again to actually be a nightmare for freedom loving people.

They are in your colleges and universities. They are in your local schools. They are in your work place. And worse of all, they are in the halls of Congress and the White House. The next decade is going to be very interesting. I hope our Republic can survive this overt coup.

Obama Seeks to Limit the Movement of American Businesses and Citizens

Americans pride themselves on the premise that they are a free people able to move from town to town, and state to state without the permission from federal bureaucrats. That premise of freedom is being challenged by the Obama Administration. Boeing has decided to open a factory in South Carolina, which is a right to work state. The unions are not happy with this decision and have decided to pull some favors from Washington D.C. in order stop them; as reported by the Washington Examiner:

Can federal bureaucrats tell a private company where to build a factory?

Members of President Obama's National Labor Relations Board think they can. In a decision that even the New York Times is describing as "highly unusual for the federal government," Lafe Solomon, who was appointed to the board by Obama, filed a complaint on behalf of the NLRB on Wednesday seeking to force the Boeing Co. to build an assembly line in Washington state instead of South Carolina.

Boeing has had problems with the labor unions for years. South Carolina is a business friendly state and its citizens are an independent people that have a history of rejecting collectivism. Obama’s core constituents are the labor unions. And this president has had enough of his voting bloc being diminished:

That's when Boeing chose South Carolina, a right-to-work state where, unlike Washington, workers are not forced to join unions. As a result of this policy, only 6.2 percent of South Carolinians belong to unions. Construction of Boeing's new Charleston factory is nearly complete, and the company has already hired more than 1,000 new employees, drawn mostly from within the immediate region. And back in Washington, Boeing has actually increased employment at its Puget Sound plant by 2,000 workers. But that isn't good enough for the IAM or the Obama White House. After suffering major defeats in Wisconsin and Ohio, the labor movement is looking for a scalp. Obama's NLRB is trying to turn Boeing into one.

If Obama and the labor unions win this fight, our liberties are truly at stake; when people and businesses lose the ability of movement, than we have truly descended into tyranny.

Environmentalist Try to Hijack Easter

The Marxist pagans, also known as environmentalist, are trying to hijack Easter. Earth Day has fallen on Good Friday and the watermelon people sent a letter to parishes all around the country encouraging them to observe their sacred holiday:

In a letter dated April 1 to churches across the country, the environmentalist group Earth Day Network encourages priests to remember Earth Day Sunday, even though Easter is that same Sunday.

“This year we again invite you to celebrate Earth Day Sunday and share with your parishioners a story of creation care that will impart to them the importance of protecting a nurturing the planet that was provided to us,” the letter reads. “Earth Day Sunday is a great way to bring your parish together through community building and sharing the faith with those in the community while improving the world around us.”

The letter does add that if priests want to celebrate Easter instead, they could consider delivering a climate change sermon on the following Sunday. Michael Voris of REAL Catholic TV, however, is not buying it, calling the campaign a push for a “pagan takeover of Easter”

“Earth Day 2011 falls on Friday, April 22, which is Good Friday so on the following Sunday, which is two days later, the Earth Day Network wants Catholic priests all over the country to devote their homily to Earth Day. Slight problem, the next Sunday, the one after Good Friday, is Easter,” Voris said. “Imagine going to mass to hear about the Resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead only to be told to go clean up a park.”

“I can tell you that for many years we have worked with Evangelicals and all faiths who have been involved in this movement,” a Earth Day Network spokesman told The DC. “My understanding is that the letter really says the opposite, it says celebrate Easter and some other time do something for Easter and let us know what you are doing.”

Either way, Voris does not approve of the environmentalist group’s meddling.

“This is what happens when church leaders do not stop this insanity dead in its tracks. Global warming is a scam. Its intent is to limit population growth through abortion, contraception, and sterilization,” said Voris.

And if you need proof that the enviro-nutballs believe this is a holy day, just read the following:

Margaret Mead added her support for the equinox Earth Day, and in 1978 declared:

"Earth Day is the first holy day which transcends all national borders, yet preserves all geographical integrities, spans mountains and oceans and time belts, and yet brings people all over the world into one resonating accord, is devoted to the preservation of the harmony in nature and yet draws upon the triumphs of technology, the measurement of time, and instantaneous communication through space.

Earth Day draws on astronomical phenomena in a new way – which is also the most ancient way – by using the vernal Equinox, the time when the Sun crosses the equator making the length of night and day equal in all parts of the Earth. To this point in the annual calendar, EARTH DAY attaches no local or divisive set of symbols, no statement of the truth or superiority of one way of life over another. But the selection of the March Equinox makes planetary observance of a shared event possible, and a flag which shows the Earth, as seen from space, appropriate.”

If a tree falls in the woods and no one is around to hear it, does it make a noise? Not according to the environmentalist. Nothing happens on this planet without man causing it.

Why Men Shouldn't Write Advice Columns

This advice column gives a whole new meaning to a Dear John letter.

Inflation Robs McDonalds of Profits

Inflation is rearing its ugly head and restaurants are feeling the pinch of higher food prices. McDonalds and other chains do not want to pass that cost onto a beleaguered customer base:

McDonald's results landed a day after rival Yum Brands Inc (NYSE:YUM - News) reported strong China results that masked rising food and labor costs. Chipotle Mexican Grill (NYSE:CMG - News), which has nearly all of its 1,100 restaurants in the United States, saw higher food costs eat into margins.

McDonald's and other restaurant operators are getting squeezed by accelerating food costs and must figure out how to raise prices without scaring away already skittish diners.

"It's very hard to pass through price increase right now," said Stifel Nicolaus analyst Steve West.

McDonald's Chief Executive Jim Skinner said customers are getting "pinched everywhere. They should not suffer the same fate at McDonald's."

McDonalds is looking at a 4.0 to 4.5% increase in cost. They have already raised prices by 1% in the United States and are looking for other ways to make up for marginal losses without sacrificing long term growth. Other restaurants without the name recognition of McDonalds will not be so fortunate.

U.S. Households Receive More in Government Largess Than Pay into Treasury

Citizens of the United States have become dependent on federal government largess. More families are receiving handouts than what is being paid into the treasury. Fox Business reports:

U.S. households are now getting more in cash handouts from the government than they are paying in taxes for the first time since the Great Depression.

Households received $2.3 trillion in some kind of government support in 2010. That includes expanded unemployment benefits, as well as payments for Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, and stimulus spending, among other things.

But that’s more than the $2.2 trillion households paid in taxes, an amount that has slumped largely due to the recession, according to an analysis by the Fiscal Times.

Also, an estimated 59% of the 308.7 million Americans in this country get at least one federal benefit, according to the Census Bureau, based on 2009 data. An estimated 46.5 million get Social Security; 42.6 million get Medicare; 42.4 million get Medicaid; 36.1 million get food stamps; 12.4 million get housing subsidies; and 3.2 million get Veterans' benefits.

And the handouts from the government have been growing. Government cash handouts account for a whopping 79% of household growth since 2007, even as household tax payments--for things like the income and payroll tax, among other taxes--have fallen by $312 billion.

There is a unverified quote attributed to Sir Alex Fraser Tytler that pretty much sums up what happens to nations that have reached this point in their history:

"A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only exist until the voters discover that they can vote themselves largess of the public treasury. From that time on the majority always votes for the candidates promising the most benefits from the public treasury, with the results that a democracy always collapses over loose fiscal policy, always followed by a dictatorship....

The average age of the world's greatest civilizations has been two hundred years. These nations have progressed through this sequence: from bondage to spiritual faith; from spiritual faith to great courage; from great courage to liberty; from liberty to abundance; from abundance to selfishness; from selfishness to complacency; from complacency to apathy; from apathy to dependence; from dependency back again to bondage

Bondage here we come.

National Debt Deniers and U.S. AAA Bond Rating

The above video outlines what would happen if the U.S. had its bond rating downgraded. However, there are those who are NATIONAL DEBT DENIERS if you can believe that. Unlike climate change (global warming) we actually are creating a man-made disaster by borrowing and printing money at a record pace.

The below video features a professor of economics who doesn’t believe that have a debt crisis. To him, this is all about deregulation of the financial system. Can you believe this jerk is teaching your kids? It looks like we have an education crisis too.

Federal Government Gone Wild

According to Michael Moore and all the other progressives, we don't have a debt problem.  In the meantime, Standard and Poor's has threatened to downgrade our bond rating.  After seeing the above video, I'm wondering why that hasn't happened yet.

EPA Waste Tax Money on Rap Song

Dearbornistan, Michigan has Free Speech Zones

Reverend Terry Jones will travel to Dearborn, Michigan to protest in front of that city’s mosque. This is the preacher that publicly put the Koran on trial for crimes against humanity, and then burnt it.

The mayor said that Mr. Jones will be allowed to make a demonstration in a government sanctioned spot; and nowhere else. How un-American of an American city. The mayor and its police force have become dhimmies to the Islamofascist that dominate that town. Does anyone remember the Christians that were arrested for handing out pamphlets during an Islamic festival last year?

Maybe, Reverend Jones should strap himself in bacon. That seems to be more offensive to these degenerates than explosives.

Progressives Target Children

American Progressives have targeted your children. All oppressive regimes know that the most vulnerable are those with the least experience and knowledge. I remember watching the movie The Killing Fields. The main character was in a reeducation camp and this is what he said:

We must honor the children, whose minds are not corrected by the past.

Brainwashing children is evil. And these shameless bastards make no bones about what they are doing.

American Progressives Roll Out the Guillotine

American Progressives want to roll out the guillotine on anyone who disagrees with them. They have a lot in common with the French revolutionaries of 1789. Many innocents lost their heads because of the rabid populace who came to hate not only their fellow countryman, but God as well. The Left of today has an anti-Christian zeal that is reminiscent of those dark days of the terror:

But the most unruly demonstrations of dechristianizing zeal probably happened more or less spontaneously. When a regiment of the army, two thousand strong, arrived at Aurexxe en route to Lyon, for example, the cannoneers smashed in the church doors and mutilated images and statues of saints. A crucifix was taken from the chapel of Mary and paraded about upside down for citizens to spit on. When a local quarryman refused to do this, one of the soldiers cut off a part of his nose with his saber.

The ACLU is in the forefront of banning Christianity in the public square. The French had a version of these zealots as well:

More orderly forms of dechristianization were provided by such representanats-en-mission as the ex-Oratorian priest Fouche, who undertook a particularly enthusiastic campaign in the Nievre, where he stripped cemeteries of all religious symbols and posted on the gates his famous dictum “Death is but an eternal sleep.”

Kind of reminds you of Barry Lynn don’t it?

The French Revolutionaries and today’s environmentalist also have something in common. They used nature as a new form of religion. The French appointed a commission to replace the Gregorian calendar with its references to the Saints, to a more desirous one that separated republicans from the “superstitions” of the Church:

In keeping with the cult of nature, the twelve months were to be named not just after the changing weather (as experienced in northern and central France) but in poetic evocations of the agricultural year.

Each object listed in this calendrical veneration of nature was, Fabre said, “more precious in the eyes of reason than some skeletons found in the catacombs of Rome.”

Are American Progressives capable of the atrocities that happened during the French Reign of Terror? They have too much in common for my liking.

April 19th: The Shot Heard Around the World

April 19th is the 236th anniversary of the Shot Heard Around the World at Lexington, Massachusetts. It was a fierce running battle that put the red coats to flight back to Boston. The rebel force included both men and women. Here is an account of a British soldier who survived the long retreat from Concord:

Although MacKenzie had seen few women or children, many were involved in the actions of the day. A man from the British ships in Boston Harbor wrote to England about the fury of the rebel attacks:

… even women had firelocks. One was seen to fire a blunderbuss between her father and husband from their windows. There they three, with an infant child, soon suffered the fury of the day. In another house which was long defended by eight resolute fellows, the grenadiers at last got possession, when after having run their bayonets into seven, the eighth continued to abuse them with all the [beastlike rage] of a true Cromwellian, and but a moment before he quitted this world applied such epithets as I must leave unmentioned…

And here is the tally of British regulars and rebels who fought on that historic day:

Thus ended an unbelievable April day. About eighteen hundred British regulars had marched to destroy some secreted rebel stores: seventy-three of them had been killed, two hundred were wounded or missing. Probably an equal number of Americans had been engaged during the day, but no one could count accurately the men who came, shot at the red column, and then either came to Cambridge or hiked home. Forty-nine of them had died and forty-six were wounded or missing.

The aftermath of lost ones and thoughts of a rebel who made it to the action late:

Grief-torn homes in Lexington, Acton, Woburn, and a dozen more towns, and redcoats hastily buried across the road from Josiah Nelson’s boulder strewn yard in Lincoln and other spots along the roadside – these were more than statistics. They were the evidence that an intellectual rebellion had become a rebellion in arms.

A man named James Jones arrived at Concord too late for the fighting, but soon his company was in Cambridge, billeted in Harvard College, and he was writing his “Loving Wife” the only universal truth of the day: “Tis uncertain when we shall return … Let us be patient & remember that it is ye hand of God.”

Obama's Speech Has Less Integrity than Minnesota Bridge

Exactly how dishonest can Obama be? He blamed the collapse of the Minnesota bridge on negligent repairs, when in fact it was due to structural problems. Even that liberal rag the New York Times reported on this catastrophe:

WASHINGTON — Investigators said Monday that the Interstate 35W bridge in Minneapolis, which collapsed into the Mississippi River on Aug. 1, killing 13, came down because of a flaw in its design.

The designers had specified a metal plate that was too thin to serve as a junction of several girders, investigators say.

The bridge was designed in the 1960s and lasted 40 years. But like most other bridges, it gradually gained weight during that period, as workers installed concrete structures to separate eastbound and westbound lanes and made other changes, adding strain to the weak spot. At the time of the collapse, crews had brought tons of equipment and material onto the deck for a repair job.

This administration has spent billions on infrastructure projects. Anyone with a pair of eyes has seen the American Recovery and Reinvestment signs littering the roads. And he’s trying to make the case that we aren’t spending enough on these projects?

I will acknowledge one correct statement that the anointed one made. We want a smart, lean and responsible government. Unfortunately, we have a government that doesn’t meet any of those requirements.

Libtards Display Love of Country at Tea Party Protest

Here is the true nature of the Left. They make no bones about their contempt for this country. It’s just that they don’t have the intelligence and political skills to hide it like their professional counterparts in Washington D.C.

Thank God for the Internet. It makes it so much easier to expose these jerks for what they are.

Emancipation Day Bumps Confiscation Day

Emancipation Day has bumped Confiscation Day from its traditional April 15th deadline to the 18th. You ask what Emancipation Day is. It is a local holiday celebrated in the city that has ironically subjugated 53% Americans to a state of servitude; thanks to the 16th Amendment.

On April 16, 1862 Abraham Lincoln signed the Emancipation Compensation Act freeing over 3000 slaves in the District of Columbia. It became an official holiday on January 4, 2005 celebrated only in D.C.

Maybe one day, that 53% of Americans will have a similar day of celebration. Maybe one day the 16th Amendment will be repealed and the federal bureaucratic yoke will be smashed to pieces. Maybe someday …

Atlas Shrugged: Where Fiction Comes to Life

Fiction has become fact. The timing of this movie is impeccable; and particularly on confiscation day: April 15.

I rarely go to the theater; and that means once every two to three years. Tomorrow, I will have ticket in hand with an overpriced drink and popcorn. And hopefully, a fat man with an oversized head will not be sitting in front of me.

N.C. Senate Overrides Gov. Perdue's Veto on Health Insurance

The North Carolina Senate overrode Gov. Beverly Perdue’s veto on changes to the state employees’ health insurance. The News and Observer reports:

The legislature passed the changes to the state employees health insurance plan, largely along party lines, aimed at closing a projected $515 million shortfall. The plan covers 663,000 government employees and their dependents, including 160,000 retired workers.

The plan would have required employees to pay premiums for the first time and instituted higher co-pays and deductibles.

And why did Perdue veto this bill?

In her veto message to legislators, Perdue said the bill would essentially cut teachers' pay when they haven't had raises in three years. Other than a minute in front of a committee, retired workers and teachers' groups did not have a chance to weigh in on the bill, she wrote.

Sen. Tom Apodaca, a Hendersonville Republican, said Perdue vetoed the bill because a lobbyist complained.

"She vetoed it because a lobbyist said 'we didn't get a chance to say something,' Apodaca said. "In this General Assembly, you represent the people of North Carolina, not the lobbyists of North Carolina."

Unless you’re a Democrat, then you’re an advocate of every damn lobbyist with a dollar bill. Just look at former Speaker Jim Black.

The House doesn’t have the numbers to override the veto. A compromise will have to be made. The proposed bill required state employees to pay $11 to $22 a month. They currently pay nothing unless they have dependents.

Rep. Dennis Kucinich Puppet Master?

Rep. Dennis Kucinich is a ventriloquist? I was having a hard time discerning which one was the dummy. Oh, it’s the one with the voting record! That’s right.

Now, if we can only get Dennis to sit on George Soros’s knee we would have a true representation of puppet and master.

Rep. Paul Ryan: What Would You Think of Your President and Congressman If ...

Rep. Paul Ryan (R-Wisc) asked what you would think of your President and congressman who saw a disaster coming and did nothing to avert it. Well, I would think they were irresponsible dirtbags, and borderline traitors. These spendthrifts are intentionally undermining our currency, and by extent our national security.

Obama has shown himself to be an unserious person. If this is what an Ivy League education produces, than we should automatically discount anyone who graduates from those institutions. As a matter of fact we’ve had a succession of presidents who can claim Yale and Harvard as their alma maters. I believe we’ve discovered part of the problem right there.

My congressman is Larry Kissell, the Prince of the Piedmont. This guy has shown his true colors. He had a chance to help repeal Obamacare and didn’t. Instead, he joined ranks with the forces of evil and became their regional whip.

Senator Kay Hagan should thank her lucky stars that the Seventeenth Amendment was passed in the early part of the twentieth century. Otherwise, the first act of North Carolina’s General Assembly would have been to recall her dumbass from Washington D.C.

That’s what I think Rep. Paul Ryan.

U.S. Bestows Most Favored Status on Koran; Burns Bibles

The United States has established a state religion despite the First Amendment. The official government protocol for the Koran is to treat it as though it were a valuable piece of art. As for the Bible, burn it with the rest of the trash.

Do you hear that? I believe that is the sound of creeping Shariah.

No Need to Fear ObamaCare is here!!

Do you want to live a lifestyle, free of want and responsibility? Well, no need to fear Obamacare is here!!

Live it up and don’t worry about your future and that of your grandchildren; besides, shouldn’t they pay this generation for their very existence. If it wasn’t for you, they wouldn’t have the ability to pollute Mother Earth with their foul carbon filled breath.

Obamacare will make sure that those who are fit to live will not face a Death Panel to justify their existence. Just look at all of those who have been issued waivers thus far. To belong to the premium plan all you have to do is become employed by any union or state sanctioned business that funds the Democratic Party. Are you skeptical? Well, just ask our number one salesman, Rep. Anthony Weiner:

The congressman was trying to debunk Republican “myths” about the health care law during a speech at the Center for American Progress. He used the waivers as way to describe how flexible the law actually is and how “this notion that the government is shoving the bill down people’s throats” is not true.

“The administration needs to make this argument more forcefully,” he said. “A lot of people who got waivers were … people who are our friends.”

Side effects of Obamacare may require you to bend over and grab your ankles. Lubricants, anesthesia, and painkillers may not be available due to rationing. Anal leakage guaranteed.

Boehner Budget Boondoggle Passes House

Well, the House of Representatives passed the Boehner Boondoggle today. When you have the Democrats, mainstream media, and neo-conservatives praising the Speaker of the House for his deft handling of the budget, you know something stinks.

We are now finding out that the $38 billion in budget cuts is all smoke and mirrors:

The Congressional Budget Office says the fiscal 2011 budget that lawmakers are set to approve today cuts spending by a tiny fraction of the advertised amount, the National Journal reports. A CBO analysis says spending cuts will total $352 million, or less than one-hundredth of the $38.5 billion figure settled on by both parties.

“The nonpartisan budget agency also projects that total outlays are actually some $3.3 billion more than in 2010, if emergency spending is included in the total,” the Journal reports.

The CBO attributed the sudden disappearance of the highly touted cuts to spending increases that did make it into the bill and to accounting procedures employed by Congress to reach its $38.5 billion target.

What a joke and I might add a bad joke at that. Now, we are facing the 2012 budget and also the prospect of raising the debt ceiling, so these spendthrifts can really stick it to the American people. The Democrats threw their asses over a small cut in spending. Here are a few examples of these so-called adults:

I remember the demagoguery during the 1995 budget debate. This is a different time and era. The Republicans need to grow a pair. If we don’t stand up to this juvenile behavior by the Democrats, I don’t think the country can withstand our debt crisis. These so-called adults need to get rid of their middle school mentality and get down to business.

Durham Just Got Bitten by Their Illegal Alien Chihuahuas

Durham, North Carolina has just been bitten by the dog they’ve been feeding for the past couple of decades. The illegal alien community is crying discrimination and that their “civil rights” are being violated. The Southern Poverty Law Center has taken up their cause:

The law center's complaint alleges problems in four areas: a hostile environment for students, limited access to Spanish language interpreters for parents and students, inadequate translation of school materials like report cards, progress reports and teachers' notes and lack of compliance with federal requirements for communicating with parents of children with low English proficiency.

How is it that we have parents and students in our communities who can’t speak English? Could it possibly be that they are here illegally? But, that makes no difference. We must cater to these people. Apparently, Durham isn’t providing enough Spanish speaking translators:

"To the extent that translation is happening at all, it's extremely erratic," Katzerman said. "Some things are translated, some aren't. We have parents who routinely feel inhibited from being able to be a part of the school community, because they receive very limited information in Spanish."

The law center wants to meet with Durham schools officials to discuss its concerns, warning that it will file a complaint with the U.S. Department of Education's Office for Civil Rights if the district doesn't take steps to change the situation.

With over 32,500 students, Durham is one of the largest school districts in the state. About 21 percent of its students are Latino.

I say go ahead and sue them. Durham deserves what it gets. The city council members of that God forsaken hell hole may not value their citizenship, but they sure do worship the dollar. It looks like that illegal Chihuahua knows how to hunt.

The 235th Anniversary of the Halifax Resolves

April 12th is an important date in American History. What first comes to mind is the firing on Ft. Sumter in 1861, which started the War of Northern Aggression. But an equally important event happened back in 1776 and that was the Halifax Resolves.

In Halifax, North Carolina, 83 Delegates convened and unanimously consented to authorize their representatives and recommend that other colonies at the Continental Congress in Philadelphia declare independence from the British Crown. It was the first official act that led to the ultimate break from an oppressive monarch.

Here is the Halifax Resolves:

The Select Committee taking into Consideration the usurpations and violences attempted and committed by the King and Parliament of Britain against America, and the further Measures to be taken for frustrating the same, and for the better defence of this province reported as follows, to wit,

It appears to your Committee that pursuant to the Plan concerted by the British Ministry for subjugating America, the King and Parliament of Great Britain have usurped a Power over the Persons and Properties of the People unlimited and uncontrouled and disregarding their humble Petitions for Peace, Liberty and safety, have made divers Legislative Acts, denouncing War Famine and every Species of Calamity daily employed in destroying the People and committing

the most horrid devastations on the Country. That Governors in different Colonies have declared Protection to Slaves who should imbrue their Hands in the Blood of their Masters. That the Ships belonging to America are declared prizes of War and many of them have been violently seized and confiscated in consequence of which multitudes of the people have been destroyed or from easy

Circumstances reduced to the most Lamentable distress.

And whereas the moderation hitherto manifested by the United Colonies and their sincere desire to be reconciled to the mother Country on Constitutional Principles, have procured no mitigation of the aforesaid Wrongs and usurpations and no hopes remain of obtaining redress by those Means alone which have been hitherto tried, Your Committee are of Opinion that the house should enter into the following Resolve, to wit

Resolved that the delegates for this Colony in the Continental Congress be impowered to concur with the other delegates of the other Colonies in declaring Independency, and forming foreign Alliances, resolving to this Colony the Sole, and Exclusive right of forming a Constitution and Laws for this Colony, and of appointing delegates from time to time (under the direction of a general Representation thereof to meet the delegates of the other Colonies for such purposes as shall be hereafter pointed out.

The United States is Still Paying The Price for the Sin of Slavery

April 12th marks the 150th anniversary of the firing on Ft. Sumter. The War of Northern Aggression lasted five years. It was the costliest war in American history in terms of lives and property; and it would end one of the most despicable practices known to mankind: slavery. But that is not the only casualty of this war; federalism and ultimately the U.S. Constitution were also mortally wounded.

The majority of our founding fathers knew that slavery was an affront to God, and that the American people would eventually pay for this sin. George Mason, a delegate to the Constitutional convention, was reportedly to have said the following, as quoted in the book The Genius of the People:

The institution of slavery, as Colonel Mason said, like other great moral errors that a nation commits, like lack of compassion for the destitute, like behaving toward others nations or peoples without regard for the good opinion of mankind, brings “the judgment of heaven on a Country. As nations cannot be rewarded or punished in the next world they must be in this. By an inevitable chain of causes and effects providence punishes national sins by national calamities.”

And that punishment isn’t over yet. After the emancipation of the slaves, the 14th Amendment was passed to ensure that they and their progeny were given full benefits of citizenship, and entitled to due process of the law. This was a noble and righteous act. Unfortunately, that amendment has been abused by liberal judges ever since.

The Constitution was designed to put limitations on the federal government. Now, they practically have none. If you want proof of that, just look at our naturalization and immigration policy. Any woman who can make it on our soil and drop an anchor baby can have that child become an American citizen, thanks to the infamous Wong Kim Ark case; on top of that Plyer v. Doe forced States to educate illegal alien children at the expense of citizens. Again, the 14th Amendment was cited. Is it any wonder we are being invaded by the hordes from third world countries, when we have policies such as these?

And how is it that the Federal courts can rule against States and local governments on matters of religion, when the First Amendment clearly prohibits Congress and by extension the federal judiciary from prohibiting the free exercise of it? Why it’s the 14th Amendment of course. Everson v. Board of Education was passed in 1947. Now, we have the ACLU running wild on every municipality, parent, and child who dares to mention Jesus Christ in the public square.

The federal courts have no limitations when they can misconstrue the 14th Amendment to reach any judgment that fits their ideological bent.

We as a people are still paying the price for the sin of slavery. Instead of a plantation overseer cracking the whip, we now have federal judges and bureaucrats that have taken their place.

NEA and Labor Unions Ready to Indoctrinate Your Kids on April, 4th

Tomorrow’s a big day for our educators. It’s indoctrinate the kiddies day! The NEA and your local union thugs are sponsoring this national event. They have co-opted the day of Martin Luther King’s assassination to spread their message. If you can’t stand on your own, adopt a martyr.

The NEA has listed ways to show solidarity with the socialist in your local schools:

For information about specific We Are One events in your area, visit the main We Are One website.

Suggestions for local events:

• Ask Everyone in your local to wear red in support of public education.

• Hold a pancake breakfast before the school day begins; a potluck lunch; or a social get-together after work.

• Organize building reps to distribute flyers to members in their place of work — front office of the school, cafeteria, transportation office, classrooms, lounge – wherever it’s appropriate to distribute the information.

• Orchestrate a letters to the editor program in which the local newspaper receives letters during the entire week of April 4 – 8.

• Wear arm bands/buttons/stickers to show solidarity with other workers.

• Stage a teach-in at your local school or institution of higher education, using the information in the AFL-CIO’s “We Are One teach-in kit”.

Documents to use and share:

• We Are One flyer

• We Are One sticker template (square)

• We Are One sticker template (round)

While you visit the NEA’s site, check out the comments. You will not believe that these people are teaching your kids. Here is one I found interesting. This woman was a teacher in New Jersey. As soon as she retires she flees her state and moves to North Carolina. Yeah, that’s all we need down here, another socialist from the northeast:

Fellow Public School employees: teachers and support staff:

The wrong message is being delivered to the public: they should recall when employees bargained for benefits as opposed to rate of salary. Excellence is what public schools
have always maintained. They have met the challenge to equip students with knowledge
required to fulfill demanding changes in education. All over the United States we unite
together. (from New Jersey, retired in North Carolina.)

Muslims Know How to Throw a Kaffir Party

Reverend Terry Jones put the Koran on trial and then symbolically condemned it with a good old book burning. The Muslim world reacted as though someone had made a cartoon of their prophet Mohammad. That religion of peace sure knows how to throw a good kaffir party. Not only will you lose your mind; you could lose your whole head as well. Can I get a LALALLALALAALLA!! Allah Akbar!!

Of course, the mainstream media is in all sorts of contortions on how to react to this extreme provocation by a backwater preacher. How dare anyone burn a holy book like the Koran? Wasn’t there any crosses nearby that could have been soaked in piss? Wasn’t there a picture of the Virgin Mary that they could have smeared in shit? Weren’t there any Bibles around that they could have burned instead? After all the Koran is the direct word of God. And how do we know this? Because Mohammad said so!

Here is a Muslim on MSNBC saying just that:

Well, it wasn’t the direct word of God. According to Mohammad, it was the Archangel Gabriel who informed the prophet of Allah’s (formerly known as the moon god) messages.

I wonder how Mohammad knew it was Gabriel, and not some imposter. The Bible talks of an entity that is a deviant and a liar, and loves to take advantage of other’s weaknesses. Could that entity be SATAN? It would explain a lot. Here is a video that outlines the deeds and character of that great Islamic prophet:

How can we reconcile the words and deeds of Jesus with that of Mohammad? How can they both be a messenger of the same God, when both are completely different from one another? The Bible warned us of false prophets; especially, the ones that have paved the road in blood.

5000 Illegal Aliens Decide Colorado Senatorial Election

In 1993 President Bill Clinton and the Democratic Congress passed the National Voter Registration Act. The Motor Voter Law was ostensibly designed to make it easier for people to register to vote while they applied or renewed a driver’s license. Detractors of this law immediately saw the flaws. The burden of verifying the status of an applicant fell onto individual state Department of Motor Vehicles. These agencies are not equipped to handle the burden of verifying citizenship.

What did Congress do next? In 1996 they passed the Illegal Immigration Reform and Immigrant Responsibility Act. That’s right they put the onerous on the very people who have no regard for our laws to begin with. And what is the penalty for an illegal alien voting in our elections? That’s right; deportation. What a joke!

Reports of illegal aliens voting in elections aren’t new, but they may have been a deciding factor in one state race. It is reported that 5000 illegals participated in and may have decided Colorado’s senatorial race, as reported by The Hill:

Colorado Secretary of State Scott Gessler, a Republican, told the panel that his department’s study identified nearly 12,000 people who were not citizens but were still registered to vote in Colorado.

Of those non-citizen registered voters, nearly 5,000 took part in the 2010 general election in which Democratic Sen. Michael Bennet narrowly defeated Republican Ken Buck.

We can expect more of this in the future. Is it any wonder illegal aliens participate in our elections, when we have so few in this country that do value citizenship?

Union Thugs Bully Grandmother

Wisconsin union thugs have reached a new low. They are bullying a grandmother who refused to put one of their signs in her store front window.

It takes courage to start a business; it takes even more to face down an entity with a violent history. Kudos to Dawn Bobo.
