PC Police Edit Popular 80's Song

I don’t normally listen to radio stations that play music.  It's the same stuff over and over again.  Sometimes you might hear the same song within a couple of hours.  So when an old 80’s song that was ubiquitous during its time began to play, I really didn’t pay much attention, until I realized it was edited.

I used to cringe when Dire Straits ‘Money for Nothing’ came on the radio.  You couldn’t escape it.  Radio stations had it on a never ending loop, or so it seemed.  I especially dislike it now that the PC police got their mitts on it.  Apparently, faggot is no longer allowed in the lexicon.  So when this “classic” is played, you hear silence where “faggot” used to be.

Since the PC police are editing songs will they do the same to movies?  What will happen to cult classics like “Slap Shot”?  That movie will be hard to edit.  The thought police will probably have to ban that one.

Ah, the good ole days.
