Welcome to Charlotte, North Carolina! Leave Your American Privilege at Home

Charlotte, North Carolina has the distinction of hosting the 2020 Republican National Convention and everyone in the area, especially conservatives, are apprehensive about the low-lifes this event will attract. No one is concerned about the delegates and their guest. No, what we’re worried about are the anarchists, communist, and teat squawkers that make-up the Democratic party. These people aren’t concerned about life, liberty and property. What they’re concerned about is shoving their ideology down our throats.
The convention is two years away and Progressives are already making demands. If Republicans come to Charlotte we must leave our “bigotry” at home. I just love being lectured to by a people who believe its okay to beat up Trump supporters and destroy or deface property that offends their delicate sensibilities. LIberals believe in tolerance as long as it’s on their terms. Their velvet glove techniques are notorious. Here is an excerpt from the latest Charlotte Observer op-ed written by Justin Perry, a tolerant liberal:
In addition to the eight white nationalists running for Congress, an N.C. GOP candidate has said that “God was a white Supremacist.” WRAL reports the fastest-growing gang population in North Carolina is white supremacist groups. CBS News reports hate crimes continue to be on the rise. Is this the “economic” anxiety that people said drove Republicans to Trump?
While integrating KKK mottos like “America First,” our president has described Latino immigrants as “infesting” our community and called African countries “shitholes.” The lack of loud and firm denouncements on the national level from non-lame duck GOP members of Congress speaks volumes.
Let’s not forget that Tony Perkins, who was recently appointed as a U.S. commissioner on International Religious Freedom, recently said we should have “never stopped criminalizing homosexuality.”
Tell me, how many of these issues relate to being fiscally conservative? How exactly does one exchange coffee and conversation with someone who wants them dead, incarcerated, or sees them as subhuman?
This is not about all Republicans. I work with and care for many people with whom I don’t agree politically, and I never have or will stop valuing their humanity. But I focus on people’s words and deeds, rhetoric and policy, and most important of all, their silence.
That’s why I invite our host committee and local GOP leadership to step up in a way that hasn’t occurred nationally. Publicly denounce all forms of racism, homophobia, anti-immigrant, anti-Semitic, anti-Muslim bigotry and hate, as things that are not welcome in Charlotte. Embrace the convention, but also embrace the opportunity to reclaim your party and protect Charlotte. Ending “divisiveness” will never occur as long as fundamental questions of humanity remain.
Eight GOP congressmen who are white nationalists? Since when has America First become a KKK slogan? I have no idea what this guy is talking about, but I’m sure he picked up this nonsense from Thinkprogress or some other libtard propaganda machine.
Mr. Perkins is basically telling the rest of us to shut our mouths. Anything he doesn’t agree with us on is racist, homophobic, anti-immigrant, anti-Semitic and anti-Muslim. And don’t you just love having a liberal lecture us on what our party platform should be? What else are we not allowed to talk about? How about welfare reform? Why that discriminates against the poor. What about Social Security? That’s just another way for Republicans to starve grandma and grandpa. It goes on and on and on with these people. They personalize everything right down to our bathrooms.
Maybe, liberals should put up a banner at the convention hall: Welcome to Charlotte, North Carolina! Leave Your American Privilege at Home.

Charlotte Consumed by a Virulent Strain of Libtardism
Southerners are well aware of kudzu. This parasitic plant is a real life version of the Blob; it consumes everything that gets in its way. When I drive down a country road and see nothing but kudzu, I can’t help but think about progressives and their constant screwups. It was a New Deal program that spread alien seedlings throughout the South in an attempt to curtail erosion. Now look at what we got: another good intention gone bad.
The Charlotte/Mecklenburg County primaries are another example of a creeping, invasive species. This was the first time in years I didn’t vote. I woke up one morning and found out progressivism has spread throughout the city strangling the life out of all common sense. Even reasonable Democrats were thrown out of office.
Mecklenburg County Sheriff Irwin Carmichael didn’t survive his party’s virulent strain of libtardism. This incumbent believed in the rule of law and the safety of the community. He did a good job. But that’s not good enough for the virtue signalers in this one-party town.
The overwhelming majority of Democrats, including the new sheriff, declared they want to put an end to 287(g). This program established a partnership with ICE and the Sheriff’s Department in helping to get rid of criminal, illegal aliens. You would think citizens would want to get rid of foreign criminals; not if you’re a Democrat. Here is an excerpt from the Charlotte Observer:
The sheriff's primary race attracted national attention as a referendum on immigration, because the candidates were split on the jail's controversial 287(g) program.
Carmichael has supported the program, which involves screening everyone arrested in the county to see whether they are here illegally. Under the program, an arrest can send people without documentation into deportation proceedings — whether they've been charged with a violent crime or a minor offense.
Fewer than 60 jurisdictions in the United States participate in 287(g), which has been used in Mecklenburg County since 2006. More than 15,000 people have been processed for deportation after an arrest in Mecklenburg County since the program began.
The decision to get rid of this program has rendered Charlotte a de facto sanctuary city. Welcome to Libtardville, everybody!
I happened to listen to Governor Pat McCrory’s radio program yesterday morning. He made an interesting observation: Charlotte has become a segregated city. What he meant by that is citizens are separating themselves based on political ideology. I can say without hesitation my area has been consumed by a kudzu-esqe strain of liberalism that I want nothing to do with. Worse, I don’t believe Charlotte can get rid of this invasive, anti-American ideology.

Democrats See the Second Coming After Virginia Gubernatorial Race
Democrats are euphoric after Tuesday’s election results. You would’ve thought it was the second coming ... of Karl Marx. They can’t believe their good fortune. In Virginia, the D.C. suburbs swarmed the polls in a vociferous repudiation of America’s determination to drain the swamp. No one should be surprised that these lip-smacking, teat squawkers would go quietly into that good night.
Somehow, pundits and politicos believe the Old Dominion is a bellwether for the 2018 midterm elections. They’re not alone. This sentiment isn’t unique to beltway courtesans. The editorial board at the Charlotte Observer weaves a common thread. They believe President Trump influenced our local elections. Democrats in Charlotte, North Carolina dominated both mayoral and city council races. Here is an excerpt from an editorial by Peter St. Onge at the Disturber, notice the contempt he has for conservative voters:
The result: With a couple of recounts to come, Democrats might be on the verge of a stunning takeover of the Republican-controlled Virginia House of Delegates.
What’s the thread through all this? College educated voters are swinging big to Democrats, not only in Charlotte on Tuesday, but in Virginia and other special elections across the country – even some that Democrats have lost. At the least, those voters are expressing a clear anxiety with Donald Trump’s administration and Republican leadership in Congress. At most, it’s a repudiation.
In North Carolina, there’s an added dimension: A conservative state legislature has bullied Charlotte and other urban/suburban areas for years. That GOP brand was an additional headwind for Smith to face Tuesday, and it goes a long way toward explaining his startling 18-point loss.
A big caveat: Elections and polls show Democrats are not persuading rural and lesser-educated voters that they’ve made a mistake supporting Trump and other Republicans. So it’s a good idea to tap the brakes a bit on predicting a Democratic wave in the 2018 congressional elections.
But this is also true: It’s not always awful for a political party to have the other guys completely in charge for a little while. Especially when the other guys are led by Donald Trump.
The hubris of this guy is appalling. I have read Peter St. Onge’s editorials for years and I can definitely declare without hesitation that he is not my intellectual superior. I will further state that today’s college graduate is more indoctrinated than educated. Today’s institutions of higher learning are no different than a cult. The only thing missing from these doctrinaires is a Che Guevara brand on their forehead.
With that being said, Charlotte, North Carolina is a libtard city. I had no expectation of a Republican winning the mayoral race or gaining seats on the city council. To expect otherwise is just plain foolish. Likewise with the Virginia gubernatorial race. It has become quite clear the D.C. suburbs dominate statewide elections. Democrats would have won with or without a bogeyman like Donald Trump. That should be as obvious as the Che Guevara on Peter St. Onge’s forehead.

Illegal Aliens Demand Free Legal Services and ICE out of Charlotte
Illegal aliens are out of the shadows and in our face with rage and disdain. Yesterday, about 200 third-worlders stormed a Charlotte city council meeting demanding they kick ICE out of THEIR town and that citizens should pay for their legal services. One protester compared their plight to the Holocaust. Here is an excerpt from the Charlotte Observer:
The rage was similar to
what was seen after the September shooting of Keith Scott. Council members left
the dais in an attempt to quiet the crowd. They returned a few minutes later
and continued the regular portion of their meeting, shouting at each other to
be heard as they took votes on items such as a transportation plan.
Council members decided
to allow more people to speak, but they had adjourned the meeting. So officials
moved into the lobby of the Government Center, where they met in small groups
with immigrants and activists.
“My family is
undocumented, and I was undocumented for a while,” said Daisy Bejarano, who
came to the U.S. from Colombia. “(As a student teacher) I work with students
who feel like they could come home and lose their parents.”
Earlier Monday, the
group marched behind a white banner: “ICE Out of Charlotte / Mayor Roberts Step
Up.” Marchers stayed on the sidewalk beside Third Street and appeared to move
without incident as they chanted “No more ICE!”
Why not chant, “No more
laws!” or “Third-World! Third-World!”?

Obama to Sell Hillary Clinton Snake Oil in Charlotte
The Clinton-Obama road show will slime its way through America’s heartland starting tomorrow. Criminals Inc. will start their snake oil tour in Charlotte, North Carolina. The Anointed One will do his best to sell Hillary Clinton’s character which is a monumental task.
The foe-to-friend story will be at the
center of the Obama-Clinton show in Charlotte, North Carolina, aides to both
say. In his remarks, the president will act as a character witness for his
former secretary of state, who is struggling to convince voters of her
trustworthiness and honesty. There is no better politician to testify on her
behalf, many Democrats believe, than the man who once counted himself among the
Clinton skeptics but came around to be one of her biggest boosters
Obama would be a great
character witness for this criminal because he’s one himself. These two have done irreparable harm to the
security of this nation. Both of them
should be tried for treason. If we had
responsible representation in Congress and an unbiased media these two would be
sitting behind bars right about now.

Democrats are the Johnny Appleseeds of Division and Tyranny
Democrats are the Johnny Appleseeds of division and tyranny and they plan on a big harvest in North Carolina. They believe the Old North State is ripe for the picking. They have carefully cultivated a hybrid of democrats that are filled with envy, greed, and entitlement. They call this poisoned fruit, diversity and income inequality.
This hybrid of ideologies is an invasive species
introduced by progressives over a hundred years ago. If you bare open its contents, this fruit
spews out a repugnant odor of executive orders, bureaucratic regulations and
mandates, and judicial diktats that counterman our federalist system and
republican form of government.
Unfortunately, many of our citizens have gorged
themselves on this deadly nightshade, particularly our northeastern brethren. Many of their unemployed and pensioners seek
succor in the South. Some of these folks
are circumspect to their status as economic refugees; others are just a bunch
of lip-smacking, teat squawkers demanding “free stuff” from their fellow
citizens. This is the fruit Hillary
Clinton and Barack Obama plan on harvesting in the 2016 presidential election.
These two Johnny Dissensionseeds plan on visiting a belladonna
grove in Charlotte. The local pagans have
ball-gagged and publicly flogged the Queen City for the whole world to
see. Is it any wonder these two yahoos
are coming here to partake in a harvest of corruption and moral turpitude?

Rip Van Winkle State Wakes Up in a Dress
North Carolina was once known as the Rip Van Winkle state. Tar Heels had a reputation for adhering to an economic model of incremental growth and a virulent suspicion of the central government. This mindset can be contributed to Nathanial Macon, a statesman and true patriot. Here is an excerpt from the North Carolina History Project:
Nathaniel Macon’s
political reputation and voting record contributed to the nickname’s
ascription. The Tar Heel statesman voted against much economic
legislation that increased the national government’s power and influence in the
economy. He believed, for instance, that state-government-sponsored roads were constitutional
but federal-funded roads were unconstitutional. As a result, North
Carolina accepted only a slim percentage of federal transportation funds during
the early 1800s. Others believed that such political views retarded the
state’s economic progress and contributed to its nickname. Some even
suggest that a lingering Maconite suspicion of government is what prevents some
North Carolinians from considering all the benefits that government can bestow
upon the state.
No doubt, Macon was a wise man. Those “benefits” the federal government “bestows”
upon states have strings attached that compromise long established moral and
ethical codes. One only has to look to
this transgender bathroom absurdity to witness the power one administration can
wield simply by threatening to withhold taxpayer dollars as a means to advance
an agenda.
This agenda couldn’t have happened without local
agitators and their enablers. North
Carolina is infested with liberal rags that incessantly expound the virtues of
an omnipresent central government while spitting in the eye of federalism and
Christian principles. Here is an excerpt
from American Thinker which accurately details the shenanigans of progressives
in the Old North State:
Whether or not boys who claim female hormones can use the girls'
restroom is a red herring for a long-running phenomenon of activists and news
outlets joining hands to effect social change to suit their vision of America.
They are at war with the N.C. General Assembly, claiming that H.B. 2
eliminates the option of state courts for claiming discrimination.
However, there is no there there: federal courts adjudicate these matters
by long practice anyway, as do state
agencies.
The Charlotte Observer claimed in an article, not an editorial, that HB2 outlawed being gay in North Carolina which is an outright lie. Liberal tactics of hyperbole and dishonesty is nothing new. However, their anti-family and anti-Christian platform is something to behold. We can only wonder, when will Rip Van Winkle wake up from this nightmare?

Charlotte, North Carolina: Gateway City for Illegal Aliens
The devaluation of American citizenship has seeped
from that cesspool called Washington D.C. and is contaminating our cities. Municipalities are taking it upon themselves
to issue ID cards to illegal aliens on the pretext to help them come out of the
shadows. I’ve yet to see a shadow that
can hide these flagrant violations of our immigration laws.
Charlotte, North Carolina is a perfect example of a degenerate
city run by democrats. They want to turn
the Queen City into a gateway for illegal aliens. Of course, these democrats will use citizens
as a doormat for illegal aliens to wipe their feet on. Here are some of the incentives
third-worlders can expect at the expense of law abiding Charlotteans, as
reported by the Charlotte Observer:
Proposed strategies include:
• A “startup row” in a vacant strip
mall for immigrant entrepreneurs.
• “International Corridor” grants to
market economic development zones for immigrant businesses.
• A “Going Global” campaign that
helps local businesses find international markets.
The task force was created by City Council
resolution in November 2013, and its members (29 in all) were selected by both
the council and the mayor’s office under Patsy Kinsey and later Patrick Cannon.
Current Mayor Dan Clodfelter met with the
task force in June and said he supported the idea of a municipal ID.
Among the details city leaders would need
to work out is how to pay for the task force recommendations. This includes how
to pay for adding bilingual staff for such things as the Office of New
Charlotteans. The latter would be staffed with bilingual workers who have
community development expertise.
In the case of the municipal ID,
participants could be asked to pay a small fee for the ID card. However, the
task force says the cost could be subsidized by creating partnerships with
cultural institutions, businesses and museums.
The benefits of the ID include helping law
enforcement identify individuals who are currently not allowed to have a state
driver’s license, supporters say. The cards could also be used for a variety of
existing programs, such as library cards and a means of paying for public
transportation and parking, officials said.
Emily Zimmern, who co-chaired the task force
with Latorre, said many of the recommendations are based on suggestions from
the community. The task force also sought the expertise of other cities in the
country that have introduced their own immigrant-oriented programs and
municipal IDs.
Zimmern said she recognizes that some in
the community may be wary of the recommendations.
You think!
I wish American citizens had an advocate with the same zeal Democrats
have for illegal aliens. Instead, our
wallets are raided; our communities invaded, and all the while told to shut up
while Jose, Maria and their litter of brats trample over top of us on their taxpayer
subsidized free-for-all.

North Carolina's Shadowland Teat Squawkers
If you want to see the difficulty in trying to
implement tax reform and a decentralization of power, look at North
Carolina. I can’t even imagine trying
this at the national level. Every
special interest group is fighting tooth and nail to keep the status quo. If the states’ republicans aren’t successful
at beating back the teat squawkers, at least the exercise has been insightful.
What surprised me is how powerful nonprofit
organizations are in this state.
Hospitals, which have higher profit margins than Exxon, are complaining
about the loss of revenue because the General Assembly refused to expand
Medicaid. They are also bitching about
proposals that would eliminate exemptions from collecting sales taxes and subsequent
refunds. Yet, Carolina’s HealthCare
System’s CEO’s 2012 compensation was $4.7 million, which included bonuses over
$2 million. And this is a nonprofit?
Another band of teat squawkers that operate under
the radar are cities and townships. To
get a good idea of how involved the State is in funding everyday operations,
here is an excerpt from the Charlotte Observer:
In the Senate plan, the biggest hit
for the city in the tax bill would be the repeal of the privilege license tax
that cities impose on certain businesses. The loss of this levy would cost
between $17 million and $18 million a year when fully implemented.
The business privilege tax is levied
on all businesses, trades and professions operating inside Mecklenburg County.
The minimum tax is $50. The maximum is $10,000.
The city could also lose $15 million
per year if it loses refunds on sales taxes that it pays to the state, plus an
additional $10 million from the elimination of the local sales tax on food. The
lost revenue would be partially offset by an additional $11 million in revenues
from additional taxes that nonprofits such as hospitals would pay.
Berger spokeswoman Amy Auth said the
Senate’s tax reform plan incorporated feedback from people across the state,
including constituents, businesspeople, other legislators and the governor. In
particular, a vast majority said the state should not tax food, she said.
Local governments have other options
for raising money for local services and infrastructure, including impact fees,
water fees and other local taxes, Auth said. Governments could make up for lost
sales tax by reinstating the food tax, or they could reduce spending, she said.
As for privilege taxes, Auth called
them a disincentive for business to move to and create jobs in North Carolina
and noted municipalities will have five years to prepare for the change.
According to the League of
Municipalities analysis, Charlotte would lose the largest amount of revenue in
the state, but other communities would face steeper tax increases. The
Edgecombe County town of Leggett, for example, would need to raise property tax
bills by 849 percent to make up for $83,584 in lost revenue.
Among Charlotte-area communities,
Monroe would take a $2.2 million hit, Gastonia would lose about $2 million and
Mooresville would come up $1.1 million short.
Cities like Charlotte have been double
dipping. Besides imposing their own
taxes, they use the state to confiscate wealth from their citizens through taxing
services and items like food. They then get
the rebates, all the while scrubbing their hands of the dirty political
process. In the meantime, we have sprawling
unaccountable bureaucracies that perform duplicate, and without a doubt,
substandard service.
A famous Democrat once said all
politics is local. That’s the way taxation
should be as well. All forms of revenue
should be transparent and the politicians of that community held
accountable. But as we’ve seen, it’s
better to operate in the shadows.

Charlotte's Forgotten Health Care Legacy
I watched an
excellent documentary about the development of Charlotte’s health care
system. Most notable was the
establishment of hospitals by churches and citizens. Two major hospitals in our area can be traced
back to the activities of individuals and their parishes.
After the devastation of the War of Northern
Aggression, Jane Wilkes saw a need for nursing skills while tending to wounded
soldiers. She helped raise funds for St.
Peters Hospital and also for Good Samaritan Hospital, which was the first
privately funded all-negro facility in the state of North Carolina. She and her fellow citizens typified Alexis
de Tocqueville’s ideals of what it means to be an American. This kind of civic pride and participation lasted
until the mid-twentieth century when local governments began to take over the
hospitals.
You won’t find monuments or public buildings named
after Jane Wilkes in Charlotte. Those
kinds of accolades belong to rapacious politicians who raid the public
treasury. No, her legacy endures even
though most Charlotteans don’t remember her.

DNC Stiffs Duke Energy on $10 Million Loan
I wonder what the odds were in Vegas that the Democratic National Convention would have paid back a $10 million loan guarantee issued by Duke Energy for their shindig in Charlotte. Today, the energy company issued a statement to its shareholders that they got stiffed, but they’re able to write off $6 million as a tax write off. There’s one tax loophole the Democrats should be thankful for.
The $4 million loss is a drop in the bucket compared to the $200 million in Stimulus money they received, along with $125 million in tax credits granted by the Department of Energy. Oh, and let’s not forget the $460 million Duke received from federal, local and state governments as incentives to build a power plant in Indiana.
All in all, it pays to be a political entrepreneur. I wonder if there is a Grafter Union for big business.

Charlotte: A World Class City with Second Rate Talk Radio
Charlotte conservative talk radio is becoming nonexistent. I woke up earlier this week to discover 1660 has changed its format to sports. Unbelievable. If you’re a conservative in the Queen City you’re in a veritable hell. The only game in town is that joke WBT 1110 AM.
This is so depressing. My days have just gone longer. 1660 AM had a great lineup. I would start with Glenn Beck at 9:00; turn
over to the joke for Rush; then I went back to Hannity at 3:00. I would then finish with Laura Ingraham on my
way home at 6:00. Now, it’s gone.
It looks like I’ll have to get XM or something
equivalent. I just can’t tolerate the “talent”
on 1110 AM. Charlotte, you can’t be a
world-class city when you have second rate talk radio.

Undocubus Rolls Up to the Democratic National Convention
A bus of illegal aliens has drifted into town. They have come to thumb their noses at our laws and sovereignty. NO PAPERS! NO FEAR! That’s their mantra. And what’s to fear? The Obama administration has told local law enforcement to leave these illegals alone. Those found to be in the country illegally can be referred to federal authorities for deportation.
Jim Pendergraph, who served as Mecklenburg County Sheriff for 13 years and is now a county commissioner, was the first to bring 287 (g) to the east coast in 2006.
“I think it’s outrageous that they’re thumbing their nose at federal and United States law by parading themselves around the country and advertising that they’re illegal aliens in the country, and no one is taking action against them,” Pendergraph said.
He said he’s heard that local law enforcement was told not to arrest people on the Undocubus. “Actually, I’ve spoken to people from Homeland Security, and that’s what people have told them, is hands off,” he said
What we have is a protected class. Illegal aliens have become equivalent to the Spotted Owls. But what can you expect when we have a Third World president whose aunt and uncle are illegals themselves.
The presence of the Undocubus is symbolic of the schizophrenic nature this country has with illegal aliens. It’s even more appropriate that they should show up at the Democratic National Convention.

Non-Traditional Values Delegates to Attend DNC in Charlotte, NC

The Democratic Party couldn't have found a more suitable North Carolinian city to host their convention. The socialist republic of Mecklenburg County is well represented at the Democratic National Convention. They have the biggest delegation of all the counties in North Carolina.
As host to the Democratic convention, North Carolina has a large delegation, with about 180 people at the Sept. 3-6 event.
The delegates are evenly split between men and women, and they range in age from 17-year-old Vibhav Kollu from Concord to 90-year-old Charles Johnson of Rocky Mount, with a median age of 57.
Blacks comprise the largest segment of the Charlotte delegation, with 85 members. Seventy-nine members are white, nine are Latino, four are Asian and three are Native American.
Despite the large number of delegates, half of the state's counties aren't represented in Charlotte. Mecklenburg County leads the 50 counties that have delegates, with 26. Wake County is second with 22, followed by Guilford County at 19 and Durham County at 12.
And as befitting their non-traditional American values platform, they have a number of delegates that live up to that billing. Janice Covington, once known as George, is a transgender preacher who is an advocate for special rights in the LGBT movement.
CHARLOTTE, N.C. For Janice Covington, being selected as the first openly transgender delegate from North Carolina to the Democratic National Convention was “better than amazing” and is the culimination of a long journey.

Covington, 65, delivered a sermon Sunday at Wedgewood Church, near SouthPark.
“I advocated for LGBT rights, basically human rights, for many years,” Covington told the more than 35 people who attended the service at Wedgewood.

“When we had the Amendment One vote … I thought, I’d like to be a Democratic delegate to the DNC,” Covington said.
Janice/George isn’t the only LGBT delegate; 470 others will also attend.
Of the 158 N.C. delegates, 13 are members of the LGBT community, three times the number of the 2008 delegation, Walton Robinson, a spokesman for the N.C. Democratic Party, said in an e-mail.

The D.C.-based National Stonewall Democrats, a grassroots Democratic gay-rights organization, has kept track of most of the data on LGBT delegates from most of the states.
Of the nearly 6,000 delegates expected at the DNC, the total number of LGBT delegates is 471, Jerame Davis, the Stonewall Democrats’ executive director, said in an e-mail. For the first time ever, Davis said all 50 states set numerical goals for LGBT candidates. Another first: there will be at least one LGBT delegate from every state, Davis said.
The Democrats are all about being inclusive; except of course if you’re a traditionalist; and you happen to love the Constitution of the United States. Other than that all are welcome.
