Illegal Aliens Demand Release of 9 Dreamers

The Democratic Party Has Become the Anti-American Party
The Democratic National Convention is over. Delegates and their slavish, media lapdogs are leaving Charlotte. The Democrats are exuberant and can’t wait for the “transformation of America.” What that means is a repudiation of everything this country has stood for since its founding. Everything “traditional” is up for slaughter. The DNC intentionally left out God and dismissed Jerusalem as the capital of Israel from its platform. And when the leadership tried to interject the two back – an act which requires a two-thirds majority – the delegates defiantly stood their ground. Thrice they rejected God and our ally, only to have the leadership run roughshod over their protestations.
But that wasn’t the only rule that was broken. The rule of law was also openly flaunted. For the first time in American history, an illegal alien addressed a major party at its convention. The Democrats openly mocked our immigration laws and denigrated the rites of citizenship. What we witnessed was a refutation of everything “American.”
The Democratic Party has become the Anti-American Party.

Obama Discards Rule of Law Because It's the Right Thing to Do
It’s the right thing to do? According to whom? Dear Leader?
This man has just discarded the Constitution for his own political gain. Article One Section Eight specifically states that Congress sets the rules for naturalization; not the president.
Obama doesn’t care about the value of citizenship, or the rule of law. It’s all about him and power.
Obama the Disrespected?
It is sad and pathetic when people view everything through the race lens. According to the hate hustlers, no one can challenge Barack Obama, unless of course you’re black. In the meantime, our constitutional republic is being turned into an executive autocracy with every Obama decree. But that is okay as long as you don’t disrespect the black man in office.
Charlotte Observer Cheers Obama's Imperial Decree of Amnesty
Yesterday, Barack Obama stood before the American people and decreed that work permits shall be granted to a certain class of illegal aliens, despite the protestations of the citizenry. Everyone knows that this is an unprecedented power grab, except for the cheerleaders at the Charlotte Observer who are shaking their pom-poms and squealing with delight. The Obama administration took a perfectly reasonable, perfectly legal step toward immigration reform Friday. But it’s far from a perfect solution.
The administration announced – and President Obama later celebrated in an afternoon speech – that hundreds of thousands of undocumented immigrants who came to the U.S. as children will be safe from deportation by applying for “deferred action” status and receiving work permits, thanks to a new federal policy.
This is perfectly legal? The Constitution states that Congress sets the rules for naturalization; not the president. Someone should send a copy to the editors at Charlotte Observer, and highlight Article One Section Eight. It’s right there for all to see.
What is even more astonishing is that the totalitarians at this paper admit that the Dream Act was defeated in the Bush administration. They basically concede that immigration policy has to go through the legislative process.
Although polls show Americans supporting a rigorous path to legal status for undocumented immigrants, neither Obama nor Congress has mustered the political courage to propose such legislation. The last president to do was George W. Bush, who advocated a combination of tightening borders and penalizing illegal immigrants with back taxes and fines in exchange for a path to U.S. citizenship. That proposal was trounced in the Senate.
The road to serfdom is littered with rags like the Charlotte Observer. The editors at this paper are too stupid to see it.

You Want a Compromise on Immigration Reform? Here is a Compromise!
The amnesty drumbeat keeps pounding away. Illegal aliens believe they have a right to stay in the United States and will continue to lobby for programs like the Dream Act, until they get their way. Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) was asked about immigration reform by Journal Editorial Report host Paul Gigot:Sen. Rubio said, “The first step I’m trying to make is to deal with children basically that were brought here at a very young age through no fault of their own, find themselves here undocumented … All I’m trying to do is to help these kids do right what their parents did wrong.”
He explained that if children graduate from high school, haven’t committed any felonies and came to the U.S. before a certain age, then the government will provide a non-immigrant visa that allows them to stay in the country legally. It would allow young people to complete their education, but unlike amnesty they would have to apply for a green card in order to stay in the country after the visa expires.
Sen. Rubio said his plan is not providing amnesty because “There’s a difference that we’ve long recognized in this country, for example, in the case of refugees, between the people who have chosen to break the law and be here illegally and those who were either brought here by their parents or by circumstances … When you’re eight years old you don’t choose to come to this country illegally. Many of these kids don’t even know they’re undocumented until they graduate and try to go to college.”
The common refrain seems to be that these poor unfortunates where dragged kicking and screaming into the United States by their parents. It’s not their fault they’re here, and we should give them amnesty so they can have their fair share of the taxpayer teat.
Fine, they want compromise. Let’s give them compromise. The following conditions must be met before an amnesty Dream Act can be passed:
1) The illegal alien parents who brought them here must be deported immediately
The repeal of Plyler v. Doe and birth right citizenship is imperative. These two rogue rulings by the Supreme Court are the main causes of our illegal immigration problem. The first devalues citizenship; the latter is an affront to natural law.
And if the Supreme Court continues to meddle into Congress's constitutionally mandated prerogative of setting the rules for naturalization, then the 14th Amendment should be repealed. For it is this amendment the federal judiciary has constantly used to bludgeon states and their citizens with nonsensical rulings such as Plyler v. Doe.
Those are the terms. No consideration should be given to the Dream Act until all demands have been met.

North Carolina Illegal Alien Interlopers Want Part of the Decision Making Process
A couple of weeks ago, three illegal aliens disrupted North Carolina’s General Assembly by shouting down our elected representatives. They screamed, “Undocumented, unashamed, and unafraid.” All three were arrested. Two were released, and one was detained due to a criminal record."My name is Uriel Alberto. I am undocumented, unafraid and unashamed. I refuse to be bullied and intimidated by this committee and choose to empower my community," he shouted. As Alberto and two other protesters were escorted out of the room, some audience members shouted expletives at them and told them to "go home."
So, it is we - the citizens - who are bullying him and his “community.” Notice how he emphasized his ‘community.’ But victimization doesn’t stop with him; apparently it runs in the family:
"We didn't ask to be brought here," said Cristina Alberto, 25, his sister. "We're from a very small town in Mexico. Now, the possibility of going back to Mexico — I can't even find words for it. This (North Carolina) is all I know.
I’ve got news for you Cristina Alberto: We didn’t ask you to come here. You and you’re family are interlopers. And what really pisses me off is this:
"I think anybody in El Cambio and Dream Team will say, 'Yeah, well, you tell us where we can have our voices heard and how we can go about doing this,' " Alberto said during the interview in jail.
I’ve got news for you Alberto: You’re not entitled to the decision making process! You are an illegal alien!
"I'm a man without a country … unfortunately," Alberto said. "All my life, I've seen myself as a Mexican Southern. I'm Mexican by birth, and I'm Southern, North Carolinian, by experience. I like the South. This is my land."
Hey Alberto, you have a country. It’s called Mexico! Gather your illegal alien family; pack your bags and leave!

Three Illegals Disrupt N.C. General Assembly
Three illegal aliens disrupted a North Carolina legislative session. They were arrested and of course ICE refused to take possession. Two the three were released. The other had a criminal record. The News & Observer reported the following:The three Mexican-born immigrants interrupted a hearing Wednesday, wearing bright orange T-shirts that read “undocumented and unafraid.”
They yelled at House lawmakers for expressing anti-immigration stances. The eruption came not long after Republican state Rep. George Cleveland suggested that illegal immigrants bring crime to the state.
Court records show that Alberto was charged with assaulting a female in 2009 and convicted of driving while intoxicated in 2008. Other charges include speeding and driving without a license. But an organizer from NC Dream Team, an organization for undocumented young people, said that Alberto had turned his life around.
“We need to send a message out to our youth that are scared, ashamed, petrified to even drive a car,” said Viridiana Martinez.
In determining whether to hold a suspect for possible immigration action, ICE spokesman Vincent Picard said the agency looks at three priority factors: criminal record, recent border crossing and egregious or repeated immigration law violations, such as marriage fraud and serial border crossing.
Apparently, these illegals aren’t petrified and ashamed enough. But what do you expect when our own people don’t value their citizenship and allow interlopers to flagrantly violate our laws.

Dream Act Ghouls Feed Off of Illegal Alien Suicide

An illegal alien amnesty group published an open letter to Speaker John Boehner for the purpose of exploiting this suicide to implement the Dream Act. Do these people have any shame?
The Honorable John Boehner
Re: Emergency Joaquin Luna DREAM Act
Dear Majority Leader Rep. Boehner:
As the Majority Leader to the House of Representatives we ask that you please introduce an emergency DREAM Act in memory of Joaquin Luna before taking your Christmas or Holiday break.
Time is of the essence and we would like to prevent future suicides in light of the despair our DREAM Act youth are experiencing. DREAM Act activists have risked themselves via hunger strikes, deportation, jail and now death as a last resort. The youth have pledged allegiance to our flag and the American way of life is all that they know.
Before you say no to introducing an emergency Joaquin Luna DREAM Act on the floor, we urge you to contact Joaquin Luna’s family to read Joaquin’s final suicide note of desperation. It is disheartening and a crushing blow to any human being with a heart. It is our understanding that the Joaquin Luna family will make Joaquin’s note public at a time within their own discretion. We hope you will take our word that the final suicide note is extremely discouraging and heartbreaking. You can clearly see and sense the fear that Joaquin had before he decided to take his own life when he wrote his final prayer in that note. We urge you to contact Diyer Mendoza at (956)599-0163 or Marie Ana Mendoza at (956)862-2407 to read and see that final suicide note for yourself.
The DREAM Act passed the House of Representatives in December 2010 and we hope to see that same kind of success this year in hopes of it reaching the Senate this year.
We pray that you have compassion towards the children and our youth. We hope you will do everything within your power to put the emergency Joaquin Luna DREAM Act on the floor before taking your Holiday or Christmas break this year.
Sincerely,
DeeDee Garcia Blase

Does Human Trafficking and Slavery Give Bill Clinton the Creeps?

"It makes my skin crawl when they attack Rick Perry for one of the best things he did," Clinton says, that is, his support of a Texas law that grants in-state college tuition to illegal immigrants brought to the state as children. "What would they like?" Clinton demands. "Would they like the kid to stand on a corner and sell dope or something?"
Of course, Clinton’s tenure as president was rife with all sorts of questionable activity; many borderline illegal, if not outright criminal; so, it comes as no surprise that this man would endorse a program that grants favor to others who have no regard for our laws or sovereignty. After all, he feels their pain.
I find it disturbing that Slick Willy would grant sanctuary to children of illegal aliens by advocating a de facto amnesty, because he would rather have them in school than selling dope on street corners. But what this short-sighted politician doesn’t see is the side effect of turning a blind eye to illegal immigration: human trafficking and slavery.
North Carolina has become a magnet for illegal aliens and with it the horrors that accompany it. Women and children are brought into this country to serve as sex slaves.
North Carolina authorities have designated January as Human Trafficking Awareness Month, hoping to raise awareness about a criminal enterprise that generates an estimated $32 billion annually worldwide. ICE works with state and local law enforcement to shut down groups involved in trafficking immigrants for purposes of exploitation, whether in the sex trade or as virtual forced labor, Richburg said.
"They sell big lies," he says of the migrant smugglers. "The traffickers seek out teenagers in remote towns in Latin America with the promise of getting jobs in restaurants or caring for children. On arriving here, they keep them captive and isolated."
The traffickers usually take the migrants' identification and travel documents and threaten to harm them or their families if they try to escape. Besides finding and prosecuting human traffickers, says Eddie Agrait, ICE Charlotte Resident Agent in Charge, "our job is offering the victims a stable situation and immigration protection."
"Last year alone, ICE at the national level worked on 650 cases and arrested 300 people for this crime," Richburg said. "In North Carolina we have various investigations in progress."
Human trafficking isn’t just for the sex trade; farm workers are also sold into slavery:
Caitlin Ryland, an attorney with Legal Aid of North Carolina, says human trafficking does not always involve the sex trade. Some people are forced to perform other labor, such a farm work.
“Essentially, individuals are held somewhere against their will, and through force, fraud or coercion are forced to perform a commercial sex act or do labor,” Ryland said.
“Human trafficking is real, it’s here, it’s in North Carolina,” she added.
Douglas Coasey says he has worked on three farms in North Carolina and lived in labor camps where workers slept on the floor or in unsanitary beds with bed bugs. They also lived with leaky roofs and had rudimentary bathroom facilities and little access to food. The camps are often deep in the woods where workers are isolated and have no transportation to leave.
“They promise you these different things, but you don’t ever get it,” he said. “You end up sleeping on the floor. You end up taking a bath outside in the woods because of the crowdedness.”
Coasey says he finally left farm work last year and went into construction. He snuck away when his boss left the farm and was able to call a friend to help him escape from the camp.
“The only thing they know are dollar signs – how they make a dollar over you,” he said. “You make $5. They make $25.”
Illegal immigration begets illegal activity. Human trafficking and slavery should make all of our skins crawl.

Obama's New Immigration Guide Lines Are Being Tested

Obama’s illegal alien policy is being tested. In Charlotte, North Carolina proponents of the Dream Act blocked traffic to demonstrate that they are not afraid of the authorities or our laws:
Tuesday's arrests provided one of the first opportunities to see how a new Obama administration policy on illegal immigrants would be enforced. The administration announced last month that those without criminal records - who are found to be a low priority because they are students, were brought to the United States as children or have long family ties to the country - would be released from jail and granted work permits.
Federal immigration officials told jail authorities not to put detainers on the arrested protesters, said Julia Rush, spokeswoman for the Mecklenburg Sheriff's Office. Detainers are used to keep defendants in jail while immigration authorities decide whether they should be deported.
At Tuesday's rally, nearly 200 participants gathered at Central Piedmont Community College's central campus to protest policies that they say discriminate against undocumented immigrants. The protesters blocked traffic, at the intersection of Kings Drive and Fourth Street, while chanting "education not deportation" and "undocumented and unafraid."
The rally was organized by the N.C. Dream Team, a Raleigh-based group of students. Most of them are in the country illegally. They called for passage of the Dream Act - legislation that would provide a chance for legalization for some young people brought to the United States illegally by their parents. The bill has been introduced several times in Congress without success.
As you can see, we essentially have no immigration policy to speak of. Obama’s uncle was quietly released from custody after he was arrested for drunk driving. This man was ordered to leave the country decades ago, and yet he is still here; and they let him go, again!
When historians of the future look upon the decline and fall of the United States, they’ll say our immigration policy is one of the factors that done them in.

Illegal Aliens Protest in Charlotte, North Carolina

CHARLOTTE About 15 young people, including at least seven who are not authorized to be in the U.S., were arrested on misdemeanor charges of disorderly conduct and impeding traffic during a sit-in rally Tuesday to protest immigration laws.
Among those arrested was Martin Rodriguez of Hamptonville who is a member of a Yadkinville immigrant advocacy group called El Cambio.
The rally was held just after a preview kickoff rally held separately by the Democratic National Convention in advance of the 2012 presidential nominating convention that will be held in Charlotte.
Rally organizer Domenic Powell, a founding member of the advocacy group N.C. Dream Team, said, "This is what we have to do because these are young people whose lives are in limbo. If Democrats think we're going to go with them, they need to remember they're dealing with idealistic young people with nothing to lose."
Several hundred people, many of them young immigrants brought to the U.S. at a young age by their families, gathered for the rally at Central Piedmont Community College in downtown Charlotte, about a mile from the DNC convention gathering.
The rally group marched together to East Fourth Street and South Kings Avenues, stood in the road to stop traffic, then held a sit-in in the intersection for about 20 minutes before police began arresting them.
As Powell was led to a police van with his arms held behind his back by a police wristband, the crowd chanted "Undocumented," and Powell yelled in response at the top of his lungs, "Unafraid!"
Earlier, Powell said young people who have grown up as Americans after being brought to the U.S. by their parents need a pathway to correct their immigration status.
"These people are not criminals. They're being made criminals," Powell said. Being in the country without authorization is a civil offense, rather than a criminal one.
Powell and others call themselves "dreamers" after legislation in Congress known as the DREAM Act, which would give a pathway to legal status to young, educated illegal immigrants without criminal records.
I am no longer amazed at the arrogance and sense of entitlement that these illegals have. These people need to be arrested, along with the rest of their illegal family members and deported. It’s bad enough that we have citizens holding their hands out and squawking for a teat, it’s even worse when foreigners do it.

Charlotte Observer Champions Obama Imperial Presidency
The editors at the Charlotte Observer praised the president for acting unilaterally on immigration reform. Mind you, the U.S. Constitution gives the authority to Congress, as outlined in Article One, Section 8. But that doesn’t matter to the totalitarians at the Disturber. The ends justify the means as long as it comports to their will. Here is the quote:
In May, this editorial board urged Obama champion this issue more forcefully, and to take the unilateral steps available to him if he could not get Congress to act. We're glad he has.
The editors at the Disturber have a history of championing the “plight” of illegal aliens. They couldn’t care less about the struggles of the citizens of North Carolinians. July’s numbers just came out. The Tar Heel state has a 10.1% unemployment rate. But that doesn’t matter to the “humanitarians” in our local paper. Illegals have just as much of right to a job as you do. Forget the fact that an illegal alien student is taking the seat of an American. Forget the fact that financial aid and services are being absorbed by a people that have no right to be here; instead of going to law abiding Americans.
The editors of the Charlotte Observer obviously don’t value their citizenship.

King Obama Perpetuates Illegal Underclass
King Obama has proclaimed from the mountain top which illegal aliens will and will not be deported. The new guidelines are amnesty via executive fiat. Advocates for illegals have been trying to push the Dream Act through Congress, but have been defeated at every turn. The Anointed One decided to implement it himself. After all, what is a constitution to his Imperial Majesty?
Obama’s seemingly altruistic actions may have been more political than humanitarian. His approval ratings have drastically dropped among Hispanics:
(CNSNews.com) - Only 49 percent of Hispanic Americans said last week they approve of the job Barack Obama is doing as president, according to the Gallup poll. That is down 36 points from the high of 85 percent that Obama’s approval hit among Hispanics in the Gallup poll in the spring of 2009, his first year as president.
One of the qualifying factors is if you’re a student. If an illegal alien attends college, the feds will look the other way. But in the final analysis, this is really not helping them out. Now, we have an educated illegal that is unable to gain legitimate employment in the United States.
Now some of the students are graduating but unable to work legally as professionals. Julie, 29, who moved from Mexico to Austin at age 12, earned a degree in nursing from the University of Texas. She is unable to work, so instead she volunteers in Dallas "You have people here, and they're trained," said Julie, who did not want her last name used because of her immigration status. "The state has invested in us, so why not let us be contributing members of society and our community?"
Of course none of this would have been possible without the Supreme Court. Plyler V. Doe helped to bring about this immigration nightmare. Now, we have an underclass of educated illegals. Instead, of taking their degrees and going back to their home country, they’re waiting for Congress to pass the Dream Act. Until, that happens they’ll be in legitimate limbo.

Mexico's President is Worried About Escalating Resentment
President Felipe Calderon attended a public forum at George Washington University. He lamented the hostility that Americans have for illegal aliens, and that a mutual feeling of resentment is now spreading throughout his failed state of Mexico.
“My most serious concern is that bad feelings are growing on both sides of the border,” he added. “The anti-American feeling in Mexico is growing again.”
Meanwhile, he said, “the anti-Mexican or anti-Hispanic, or Latino, or immigrant feelings are growing here [in the United States].”
“What we need to do is remember each other – that we are neighbors, we are nice, and we are human persons,” said Calderon. “We contribute to each other’s prosperity.”
Unless the public’s perception about immigration, in both countries, changes, “it will be impossible to persuade” people to implement immigration reform, said Calderon.
Hey, Mr. Presidente what kind of a neighbor invades the others home; forces them to educate their children; takes their jobs; drives up health care cost; floods our penal system; and at the same time demand that they press one for English? And you’re worrying about the resentment of your citizens? These aren’t neighbors they’re colonizers.
I find it interesting that Mr. Felipe Calderon attended a public forum sponsored by the Woodrow Wilson Center for Scholars. President Wilson didn’t put up with the shenanigans of our southern neighbor. Mexico was a failed state then, as it is now; and with it comes outlaws and villainy.
In 1915, Pancho Villa invaded Texas. A number of Americans lost their lives. Wilson employed militia and the military to secure our borders. He also sent an expeditionary force into Mexico to hunt down Villa and restore order.
It’s been almost a hundred years later, and we’re still dealing with a neighbor who can’t get their act together.

Dream Act is Amnesty for Criminals and Whole Illegal Families
If you think the Dream Act is for the "poor" little children of illegal aliens, who had the misfortune of being abducted by their parents and spirited away from their homeland into this godforsaken hell hole called the Untied States, then you are sadly mistaken. No, this amnesty act is for the whole damn family and their little doggy too!
Senator Jeff Sessions outlines the true character of the Dream Act:
1. The DREAM Act Is NOT Limited to Children, And It Will Be Funded On the Backs Of Hard Working, Law-Abiding Americans
Proponents of the DREAM Act frequently claim the bill offers relief only to illegal alien “kids.” Incredibly, previous versions of the DREAM Act had no age limit at all, so illegal aliens of any age who satisfied the Act’s requirements—not just children—could obtain lawful permanent resident (LPR) status. In response to this criticism, S.3827 includes a requirement that aliens be under the age of 35 on the date of enactment to be eligible for LPR status. Even with this cap, many aliens would be at least 41 years old before obtaining full LPR status under the Act—hardly the “kids” the Act’s advocates keep talking about.
The DREAM Act requires that DHS/USCIS process all DREAM Act applications (applications that would require complex, multi-step adjudication) without being able to increase fees to handle processing. This mandate would require either additional Congressional appropriations, or for USCIS, a primarily fee-funded agency, to raise fees on other types of immigration benefit applications. This would unfairly spread the cost of administering the DREAM Act legalization program among applicants and petitioners who have abided by U.S. laws and force taxpayers to pay for amnesty. Taxpayers would also be on the hook for all Federal benefits the DREAM Act seeks to offer illegal aliens, including student loans and grants.
2. The DREAM Act PROVIDES SAFE HARBOR FOR ANY ALIEN, Including Criminals, From Being Removed or Deported If They Simply Submit An Application
Although DREAM Act proponents claim it will benefit only those who meet certain age, presence, and educational requirements, amazingly the Act protects ANY alien who simply submits an application for status no matter how frivolous. The bill forbids the Secretary of Homeland Security from removing “any alien who has a pending application for conditional status” under the DREAM Act—regardless of age or criminal record—providing a safe harbor for all illegal aliens. This loophole will open the floodgates for applications that could stay pending for many years or be litigated as a delay tactic to prevent the illegal aliens’ removal from the United States. The provision will further erode any chances of ending the rampant illegality and fraud in the existing system.
3. Certain Criminal Aliens Will Be Eligible For Amnesty Under The DREAM Act
Certain categories of criminal aliens will be eligible for the DREAM Act amnesty, including alien gang members and aliens with misdemeanor convictions, even DUIs. The DREAM Act allows illegal aliens guilty of the following offenses to be eligible for amnesty: alien absconders (aliens who failed to attend their removal proceedings), aliens who have engaged in voter fraud or unlawfully voted, aliens who have falsely claimed U.S. citizenship, aliens who have abused their student visas, and aliens who have committed marriage fraud. Additionally, illegal aliens who pose a public health risk, aliens who have been permanently barred from obtaining U.S. citizenship, and aliens who are likely to become a public charge are also eligible.
4. Estimates Suggest That At Least 2.1 Million Illegal Aliens Will Be Eligible For the DREAM Act Amnesty. In Reality, We Have No Idea How Many Illegal Aliens Will Apply
Section 4(d) of the DREAM Act waives all numerical limitations on green cards, and prohibits any numerical limitation on the number of aliens eligible for amnesty under its provisions. The Migration Policy Institute estimates that the DREAM Act will make approximately 2.1 million illegal aliens eligible for amnesty. It is highly likely that the number of illegal aliens receiving amnesty under the DREAM Act will be much higher than the estimated 2.1 million due to fraud and our inherent inability to accurately estimate the illegal alien population. Clearly, the message sent by the DREAM Act will be that if any young person can enter the country illegally, within 5 years, they will be placed on a path to citizenship.
5. Illegal Aliens Will Get In-State Tuition Benefits
The DREAM Act will allow illegal aliens to qualify for in-state tuition, even when it is not being offered to U.S. citizens and legally present aliens living just across state lines. Section 3 of the DREAM Act repeals Section 505 of the Illegal Immigration Reform and Immigrant Responsibility Act of 1996 (8 U.S.C. 1623) which prohibits giving education benefits to an unlawfully present individual unless that same benefit is offered to all U.S. citizens.
6. The DREAM Act Does Not Require That An Illegal Alien Finish Any Type of Degree (Vocational, Two-Year, or Bachelor’s Degree) As A Condition of Amnesty
DREAM Act supporters would have you believe that the bill is intended to benefit illegal immigrants who have graduated from high school and are on their way to earning college degrees. However, the bill is careful to ensure that illegal alien high school drop-outs will also be put on a pathway to citizenship – they simply have to get a GED and be admitted to “an institution of higher education,” defined by the Higher Education Act of 1965.
Under the Higher Education Act, an “institution of higher education” includes institutions that provide 2-year programs (community colleges) and any “school that provides not less than a 1-year program of training to prepare students for gainful employment” (a vocational school). Within 8 years of the initial grant of status, the alien must prove only that they finished 2 years of a bachelor’s degree program, not that they completed any program or earned any degree.
If the alien is unable to complete 2 years of college but can demonstrate that their removal would result in hardship to themselves or their U.S. citizen or LPR spouse, child, or parent, the education requirement can be waived altogether.
7. The DREAM Act does not require that an illegal alien serve in the military as a condition for amnesty, and There is ALREADY A Legal Process In Place For Illegal Aliens to Obtain U.S. Citizenship Through Military Service
DREAM Act supporters would have you believe that illegal aliens who don’t go to college will earn their citizenship through service in the U.S. Armed Forces. However, the bill does not require aliens to join the U.S. Armed Forces (the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, or Coast Guard); instead it requires enlistment in the “uniformed services.” This means that aliens need only go to work for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration or Public Health Service for 2 years to get U.S. citizenship. If the alien is unable to complete 2 years in the “uniformed services,” and can demonstrate that their removal would result in hardship to themselves or their U.S. citizen or LPR spouse, child, or parent, the military service requirement can be waived altogether. Such claims will likely engender much litigation and place a huge burden on DHS.
Furthermore, under current law (10 USC § 504), the Secretary of Defense can authorize the enlistment of illegal aliens. Once enlisted in the U.S. Armed Forces, under 8 USC § 1440, these illegal aliens can become naturalized citizens through expedited processing, often obtaining U.S. citizenship in six months.
8. Despite Their Current Illegal Status, DREAM Act Aliens Will Be Given All The Rights That Legal Immigrants Receive—Including The Legal Right To Sponsor Their Parents and Extended Family Members For Immigration
Under current federal law, U.S. citizens have the right to immigrate their “immediate relatives” to the U.S. without regard to numerical caps. Similarly, lawful permanent residents can immigrate their spouses and children to the U.S. as long as they retain their status. This means illegal aliens who receive amnesty under the DREAM Act will have the right to immigrate their family members—including the parents who sent for or brought them to the U.S. illegally in the first place—in unlimited numbers as soon as they become U.S. citizens (6 to 8 years after enactment) and are 21 years of age.
Additionally, amnestied aliens who become U.S. citizens will be able to petition for their adult siblings living abroad to immigrate to the U.S., further incentivizing chain migration and potentially illegal entry into the United States (for those who don’t want to wait for the petition process overseas). When an adult brother or sister receives a green card, the family (spouse and children) of the adult sibling receive green cards as well.
9. Current Illegal Aliens Will Get Federal Student Loans, Federal Work Study Programs, and Other Forms of Federal Financial Aid
Section 10 of the DREAM Act allows illegal aliens amnestied under the bill’s provisions to qualify for federal student assistance under Title IV of the Higher Education Act of 1965 (20 U.S.C. 1001 et seq.) in the form of federal student loans (Stafford Loans, Perkins Loans, Federal Direct Stafford/Ford Loans), federal work-study programs, and other federal education services such as tutoring and counseling.
10. DHS Is Prohibited From Using the Information Provided By Illegal Aliens Whose DREAM Act Amnesty Applications Are Denied To Initiate Their Removal Proceedings or Investigate or Prosecute Fraud in the Application Process
When an illegal alien’s DREAM Act amnesty application is denied, the bill states that the alien will revert to their “previous immigration status,” which is likely illegal or deportable. The bill, however, prohibits using any of the information contained in the amnesty application (name, address, length of illegal presence that the alien admits to, etc) to initiate a removal proceeding or investigate or prosecute fraud in the application process. Thus, it will be extremely hard for DHS to remove aliens who they now know are illegally present in the U.S., because illegal aliens will be able to claim that the legal action is a product of the amnesty application, and DHS will have the nearly impossible task of proving a negative.

McAmnesty Gives Audience to Illegal Aliens
It didn't take long for McAmnesty to stab the citizens of Arizona in the back. He just received his parties nomination, and the first thing he does is meet with a bunch of illegal aliens; each with a sob story.
The featured law breakers were children who were "brought here against their will", according to one plaintiff . The amazing thing is each one of these people used the system to advance themselves, and ostensibly their illegal alien community. Every one of these supplicants graduated from college in Arizona; that means for every illegal that was accepted, an American was denied a spot to attend university.
These illegals are so brazen, that one them was arrested in Senator McCain's office for demanding he pass the Dream Act. You would have thought she would have been deported.
Senator McCain is complicit in the strife that Arizonans are living through today. He willingly met with a group of people who have no regard for our laws and sovereignty. And that says it all about Senator John McCain.
