Rep. Charlie Rangel is Awkwardly Embarrassed of Congress

Rep. Charlie Rangel (D-NY) made an appearance on Fox News. He proceeded to pontificate on the lack of revenues the federal government needs in order to service the debt. Now, mind you this is the same person who evaded paying taxes and abused his privileges as a United States congressman; violations which garnered a formal rebuke by the House of Representatives.

It must take a special kind of person to publicly disgrace himself and then show up on the most popular cable news network in order to condemn others who take advantage of the tax laws.

But the biggest kicker is when he proclaimed that he was awkwardly embarrassed that Congress abdicated their responsibilities by employing a super-committee to confer on spending cuts.

Well Congressman, I’m glad to know that you’re capable of being embarrassed.
