Scott Walker Betrayed by Donor Class

Scott Walker was one of my candidates.  That was until I found out his stance on illegal immigration and his waffling on birthright citizenship.  Has it occurred to these politicians as to why Donald Trump is doing well in the polls and they’re not?  Now the Wisconsin governor has suspended his presidential ambitions.

I’m deeply disappointed in the Walker campaign.  He showed a lot of promise when he took on the unions.  Unfortunately, he wasn’t willing to take on the donor class.  Here is an excerpt from his speech.

"To refocus the debate on these types of issues will require leadership," Walker said. "I encourage other Republican presidential candidates to consider doing the same so that the voters can focus on a limited number of candidates who can offer a positive, conservative alternative to the current front-runner. This is fundamentally important to the future of the party and, more importantly, to the future of our country.

One must ask, what constitutes the future of the country and the Republican Party?  Considering what’s going on in Washington D.C. one would think it’s the donor class and their federal apparatchiks.
